DinoKoll Porcelain Slab
One-component, thixotropic deformable cement-based adhesive improved adhesion, for indoor/outdoor in facades, wall and floor installation of large sized porcelain and stable natural stones, even for tile over tile application, and on heating screeds.
. DPS2:
– DPS2 is abbreviation of Dinokoll Porcelain Adhesive
for Slab corresponds EN12004 in C2TE(S1) class.
C2: refer to cement based adhesive improved adhesion.
-T: is adhesive with limited vertical slip.
– E: is adhesive with extended open time.
S1: Deformable adhesive according to the norm EN12002.
⚫ Application:
– Large size (slab) porcelain wall, floor, façade, natural and artificial stone inside and outside.
– To apply any ceramic in stress and tension such as trace and balconiey.
– To apply tile over tile.
– Appling tile over tile on heating screed.
To apply all kind of glass and ceramic mosaic on cement screed.
- Advantages:
– Easy to prepare and apply.
– No sliding in vertical applications.
– Long using period, extend open time.
-The volum and density of adhesive.
– Water retainer and flexible.
– Helps in reducing the noise caused by footsteps.
- Consumption:
–The best pulling adhesive with notched trowel and back of tile with thin spatula. The thickness of adhesive should not more than 15 mm and consumption of adhesive is about: 6 kg/m2 for one side and 7 kg/m2 for both side. and the water ratio is about (23% -26%) weight of adhesive.
How to mix
It is better to use electric mixers or mixers that are installed on a drill and use them for 3
to 5 minutes from the time of mixing until you reach a soft, one-hand mortar and free of bubbles mixture. Then the adhesive mortar is rested for 3 to 5 minutes and mixed again for another 30 seconds, now the adhesive is ready to use.
- How to use the adhesive:
The surface of the adhesive application must be completely dry, smooth, and level, and also free from any dust, grease, paraffin oil, or any other substance that causes the substructure and connection to be loose.
The said place should not be exposed to freezing or high temperatures for at least 24 hours. Also, if the working environment has a temperature rise above 35 degrees Celsius, you can moisten the substrate a little, and at a temperature below 5 degrees Celsius, you must warm the environment.
The use of dinokoll primer in the relative strength and insulation of the substructure will reduce the amount of adhesive consumption and increase adhesion.

- Cleaning
After finishing the installation of porcelain and its grouting, the joints should be cleaned immediately with a sponge and water. Other than this, after the grouting material hardens, you must use a specialized cleaner material from Dinokoll to clean the remaining effects of cement and grouting materials.
- Storage:
The place where the adhesive is stored should be cool and dry, and the adhesive should be kept in a closed envelope.
The best consumption time is one year after the production date under the above conditions.
- Responsibility

- Safety measures:
This product contains Portland cement, which leads to an alkaline reaction when in contact with moisture. Use gloves while using the product; in case of direct contact with the skin, it will cause burning, dryness, and cracking of the skin. It may cause an allergic reaction.
In cases of direct contact with the eyes, it may cause sensitivity, burning in the cornea, or even chemical burns. In the event of contact with the eyes, wash with water for 20 minutes and then consult a doctor.
In addition, detachable elastics must be used every 25 square meters inside, every 10 square meters outside, and every 4 meters in height.
